IT consultant for Hyderabad — cloud, AI and software delivery

Hyderabad's enquiries are the most technical I receive — usually from businesses that already have engineers and want a second opinion rather than a supplier.

IT services in Hyderabad

Cloud cost audits, AI use-case work and custom internal tools make up most Hyderabad engagements. Clients here tend to arrive with a specific technical question rather than a general request for help.

Website and app development, AI systems, cloud, digital marketing and day-to-day IT support are delivered remotely — same service, same response, no travel on the invoice.

On-site work (CCTV, access control, cabling, servers) is arranged as a scheduled visit with travel quoted transparently and separately. For same-day hands-on cover, a local vendor is the honest recommendation and I will say so rather than take the work.

Second opinions and cost audits

A large share of Hyderabad work is advisory: reviewing an architecture before it is committed to, auditing a cloud bill that has grown without explanation, or giving a written verdict on whether an AI project is worth starting.

That suits an independent consultant better than a vendor, because there is no product to sell at the end of it. An audit that concludes 'do not build this yet' is a legitimate outcome and has saved clients more than any build I have delivered.

Newer stock, and what that changes

Hyderabad is the easiest city on this list to build a network in, and it is worth saying plainly rather than pretending every site is equally complex. HITEC City, Gachibowli and the Financial District are dominated by newer Grade-A commercial stock with proper risers, adequate power provisioning and good fibre availability. Cabling a floor there is a straightforward exercise.

What that changes is where the money should go. On a site with sound fundamentals, the budget that would be spent fighting a difficult building in Mumbai or old Delhi is better spent on the things that actually differentiate — resilience, segmentation and monitoring rather than remedial infrastructure.

The exception is the older commercial belt around Begumpet, Ameerpet and the Old City, where the constraints look much more like the rest of India: mixed building age, shared risers and power that needs verifying rather than assuming.

  • Grade-A buildings in the IT corridor usually have usable risers and adequate power — confirm, but expect it
  • Fibre availability is good, which makes a second internet link for failover cheap enough to be the default
  • GCC and enterprise neighbours mean staff expect enterprise-grade Wi-Fi; undersizing access points is the common mistake
  • Older Begumpet and Ameerpet stock needs the same survey rigour as anywhere else
  • Hot and dry rather than humid, so cooling matters more than corrosion

FAQ

Hyderabad — common questions

We already have developers — what would you actually do?

Architecture review, cloud cost optimisation, a written second opinion on a build-versus-buy decision, or specialist work your team has no time for. I am not trying to replace your engineers.

Can you do a cloud cost audit remotely?

Entirely. Read-only access to your AWS, Azure or GCP account is enough to produce a written report of waste and a right-sizing plan.

Do you sign NDAs before technical discussions?

Yes, before any detail is discussed if you prefer.

Is a second internet connection worth it in Hyderabad?

More often than elsewhere, yes, because fibre availability in the IT corridor makes a failover link genuinely cheap. If an hour offline costs you more than the monthly cost of a backup connection with automatic failover, the arithmetic is straightforward. That calculation lands differently here than it does in a city where the second link is hard to get.

We are in a Grade-A building. Do we still need a survey?

Yes, but a shorter one. Good building stock removes most of the unpleasant surprises — risers exist, power is provisioned, fibre is available — but it does not tell you where the access points need to sit, what the PoE budget is, or which cupboard the rack will end up in. The survey gets quicker and cheaper; it does not get skippable.
